ABEOKUTA - The lead Pastor, Victory Life Bible Church International, Apostle Lawrence Achudume has posited that the faithfulness of God has sustained VLBC since inception.
He noted that only God's kingdom can bring the much required justice and peace to the world.
The 30th anniversary of VLBC witnessed various ministrations from the children church, branches and the cutting of the anniversary cake.
Apostle Achudume, his spouse, Reverend Fola Achudume, all senior pastors and associates, as well as friends of the church, was full of joy on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 as they all converged on Victory City, Ajebo Road Abeokuta to give praises to God for the anniversary of the church which was birthed 3decades ago.
The well-attended event which commenced with a morning service and Ministers' conference came to a climax in the evening with a special spiritual declaration tagged father's blessings by Reverend Felix Omobude, a former President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, and the spiritual father of VLBC’s Lead Pastor, Apostle Lawrence Achudume.
Posting that God does not release the details of what the future holds, Reverend Omobude lauded the success stories of VLBC in its three decades of existence adding that the time has come for the church to intensify efforts in its quest to bring to the people the goodness of Victory from God's word, the Bible.
Entitled "Greater Things Than This", the former PFN President declared that VLBC is set to move into an abundance of God’s glory.
Earlier in a sermon entitled: New Wine", also a former National President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor saw the need for Christians to be conscious of the power of God which he described as unusual and abnormal in the sight of God.
"You don't look for God in a normal way, if it is normal, it is not God. The difference between the church and event centre is God, you must have an experience and meet with God whenever you go to church", he said.
