Another Picture Of Ogun Secondary School Students Sitting on Bare Floor Surfaces Online, Social Media Users React

The ugly sight of Imotu Community Academy sitting on bare floor.

ABEOKUTA - Barely 24 hours after the Ogun State Government supplied set of tables and chairs to St. Kizito High School, Iwopin in Waterside, Ogun State, another pictures of students of Imotu Community Academy, Ifoyintedo in Yewa axis of the state writing lesson notes surfaced on the internet.

Earlier on Monday, photos of students of St. Kizito High School, Iwopin in Waterside, writing exams on the bare floor went viral.

The picture which caused stir on social media and condemnation of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration for paying lip service to education forced the government yesterday to supply furniture to the school with immediate effect.

When the picture was posted on Facebook last year December, a philanthropist, Mrs. Cecelia Ibiyemi Idowu donated 50 set of tables and chairs to the school, but the effort was not impactful enough.

But the latest viral picture of Imotu Community Academy students sitting on bare floor has further exposed the ineptitude of the current administration to improve the educational sector beyond repainting of school walls and roofs.
