Youth Group Hails Abiodun For Appointing Shomide As Board Member OGWAMA

ABEOKUTA - Dapo Abiodun Youths Vanguard (DAYV) in Ogun state has applauded the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for appointing the caretaker Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Ayodeji Shomide, as board member, Ogun State Waste Management Commission representing Ogun Central Senatorial District. 

The group in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Comrade Timothy Odedina thanked the Governor for recognising the “selfless service and contributions of Hon. Ayo Shomide to the development of the Abeokuta South Local Government and Ogun Central in general.

The youths described Governor Abiodun as a silent achiever, man of the masses and a good listener.

"Without any reasonable doubt, Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun's achievement will break records among all governors who had ruled Ogun state, he has begin well by deeming it necessary by touching the grassroots with appointment of well deserved gladiators.

"Hon. Ayo Shomide's appointment is a round peg in a round hole, we sincerely appreciate the governor on his behalf."

They also admonished youths in the state to be useful to the society through skill acquisition exercise which will make them more independent and self-reliant.
