ABEOKUTA - A young female entrepreneur and Business Director at My Beads World, Mrs. Aishat Oluwatosin Isa on Saturday gathered about 50 female young entrepreneurs and beads makers on successful business plan for 2021.
Aisha said the summit was to encourage young talented female business owners in the fashion industry to have a development plan for the new year.
She said female business owners are being marginalized in recent government empowerment programmes and the need to motivate them to grow their businesses.
Aisha however, called on both federal and state governments to focus more on female entrepreneurs at improving the nation's economy.

She noted that, "We gathered here to see how we can get better in our business in 2021. How can grow in the business. Everyone here is into fashion business and we have invited people leading in the industry to talk to them and grow together and have better results.
"The women should make best use of their skills and invest more in their business because every woman there has inner strength.
"I will advise the Nigerian government to involve women in their decision making. We need more women participation. We have been cheated for long. Most times we are overshadowed."
Also speaking, one of the resource persons at the seminar, Mrs. Mary Ajayi enjoined the women to be resourceful and focus on their business without distractions.
Mrs. Ajayi, the Executive Director, Women Organization for Development and Empowerment of Communities in Ogun state charged the women to instill confidence in themselves and become a helping hand to their husbands.

She however, bemoaned the selfishness and greedy nature of many women in mentoring their female counterparts.
"Women should learn to be resourceful, focus on what to do no distractions.
"Have confidence in yourself, there's nothing you cannot do as women. You have to help your husband, it is not everything you ask from man.
"Don't be idle, gossiping from morning till even. To live comfortably in Nigeria, you need at least two sources of income. One for capital, business, and other for self development.
"Selfishness is too rampant among women. Women are not much in politics because we invest in profitable Enterprises.
"You can start a business as small as N10k if there are no distractions. We have many things to do. Have trust in yourself."
Other resource persons who spoke at the seminar are; Commissioner for Commerce, Industry, Trade and Investment, Mrs. Kikelomo Longe, Mrs. Temitope Alabi, Director, Wessy Institute of Creation.
