ABEOKUTA - Organizers of the second SWAN/Security and Safety Cup announced Value Jet Airlines, a new airline owned by Otunba Kunle Soname, as parts of sponsors of the football competition.
The SWAN Chairman, Akeem Akintunde disclosed this at a press conference for the draws ceremony at the held at the weekend.
According to Akintunde, the Airline company has promised to bankroll the football event with the some of N500,000 as part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the company.
Akintunde said the Chief Executive Officer of Value Jet, Kunle Soname has promised to support SWAN to make the event a memorable.
"Soname has assured that, the 3rd edition would be bankrolled by Value Jet as the official title sponsor in 2023.
“Kunle Soname, who is the owner of Value Jet Airlines and Remo Stars Football Club, is ready to partner SWAN to have a successful event.”
SWAN/Security Cup is a football competition organized by Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State chapter for security and safety agencies in the state.
The second SWAN/Security Cup will kick off on Monday, 5th September, 2022 with the 12 security and safety agencies that have registered.
