Ogun Agric. Commissioner, TVC, Punch, Tribune Reporters Receive Prestige Newspaper Awards

ABEOKUTA - It was a double celebration for the Ogun state Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Adeola Samson Odedina as he was honoured with a Meritorious Award of Excellence and Best Attitude To Media Relations Award by an Abeokuta based community news outfit, Prestige Newspaper. 

Odedina who just returned from the Nigeria Agriculture Awards in Abuja was honoured by the newspaper for his giant strides made in Agricultural sector of Ogun state since taking over the ministry early this year. 

Elated Odedina who could not hide joy, assured residents of the state of food abundance in the coming year, promising that the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun will continue to improve on the food security of the state along the value chain.

Other personalities who were honoured by the newspaper outfit include; the Ogun state Correspondent of Television Continental, Mr. Kazeem Olowe as the Most Outstanding Reporter of the year in Broadcast media, and Mr. Daud Olatunji of the Punch newspaper was awarded the best reporter of the year in print male category, while Mrs. Olayinka Olukoya of Nigerian Tribune was adjudged as the Best Reporter of the year in print for female category. 

Other awardees include;  Dr. Adesanya Ayinde as the Best Permanent Secretary of the year, Mrs. Irene Folashade Kokumo was honoured with Beat Bureaucrat of the year while the late General Manager, Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Diji Akinhanmi was honoured as the Best Manager of the year.
